Start out going East on E. Sky Harbor Blvd toward rental cars. Take the AZ-202 Loop E. ramp toward Tempe. Merge onto AZ-202 Loop E. Take Exit 22, Recker Rd; go right (south) to McKellips Rd. Turn left and go .5 mile, resort will be on your left past golf course entrance.
From Tucson:
Take I-10 W. Exit onto US-60 [Superstition Fwy]. At exit 186, keep RIGHT onto Ramp (Higley Rd). Turn LEFT onto S Higley Rd. Turn RIGHT onto E McKellips Rd. The resort will be on your left past golf course entrance.
From Los Angeles:
Take I-10 East. Keep LEFT onto SR-202 Loop HOV Lane. Road name changes to SR-202 Loop. Exit at Recker Road Exit #22, turn right (south) to McKellips Rd and go east (left), the resort will be on your left.

January
- FBR Open, PGA Golf Tournament
This stop on the PGA tour (one of its top attractions) brings out the best golf has to offer. The event is played at the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale each January, where the beauty of the McDowell Mountains serves as a backdrop to the lush course. Free public parking and shuttle service. Rain or shine!
February - April
- Arizona Renaissance Festival
A medieval amusement park with 12 stages of music and comedy, arts and crafts faire, food and drink, and jousting tournaments. Held on weekends.
March
- Cactus League Spring Training Baseball
The Cactus League has been entertaining baseball fans for over 50 years in Arizona. Nine of the 12 teams train in the Mesa-Phoenix area.
May
- Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
The annual fiesta features fun for the entire family, including traditional and contemporary Mexican music and dance, as well as arts and crafts, children's activities, a carnival and food. Contests will be held for Mesa's best salsa and homemade pinatas.
July
- Annual Independence Day Celebration
Presented by the City of Mesa featuring musical entertainment, children's activities, and fireworks. 6 pm; fireworks: 9 pm.

- Annual Mesa's Merry Main Street
Annual family celebration including a light display, music, food, and children's activities. 5 to 9:30 p.m.
