The Ambush plays to 7,042 yards from the back tees and features four holes on an island in the Rio Grande. Lajitas has recently announced plans for the upcoming Ambush Clubhouse—a 30,000-square-foot facility that is scheduled to break ground in 2005. Located behind the current Ambush pro-shop, the new clubhouse will be home to a two-lane lap pool, large swimming pool and jacuzzi, clubhouse café, fitness center, tennis pro-shop, member locker rooms, stadium seated tennis courts, meeting facilities, and the 8,000-square-foot Agave Spa.
